The British Academy invites applications for its visiting fellowships. These enable early-career scholars from overseas working in any branch of the humanities or social sciences to spend at least two months undertaking a clearly specified research project in the UK. Applications must be made in conjunction with a UK host academic who should be an established scholar of postdoctoral status willing to undertake the practical and administrative arrangements for the visit. The fellowship candidate must be resident outside the UK, of postdoctoral or equivalent status, and must have obtained their doctorate after 1 January 2001. The maximum grant under the scheme is $12,000 (at a full economic cost basis of $15,000).
