media and cultural politics papers

The International Journal of Media and Cultural Politics is an interdisciplinary peer reviewed journal for the analysis of the Politics and politics of media and culture. MCP publishes work that is engaged with current world affairs and the ways in which culture and media educate, reflect, reflect or transform ways of making sense of their local and global implications. We are interested in papers addressing any aspect of these intersections and using established and new methodologies to shed light to pressing questions of our times.

In its first two years, MCP has published a special issue on Black Women's Politics of Cultural Expression (Issue 1.3) and the New Multiculturalism (Issue 2.3 forthcoming) as well as a variety of articles including

For our future issues, in addition to any subject relevant to the scope of MCP, we would like to encourage the submission of papers addressing cultural and media policy, religion and freedom of expression, human rights and culture, privacy and data trafficking, subverting uses of communications and culture technologies.
